Centralia Ballet Academy
Auditions for Centralia Ballet's 2024 production of The Nutcracker will take place on Saturday September 14th, between 1 pm and 6 pm of . Dancers will be grouped by age and/or level, and exact times will be emailed out by September 12. To audition, all dancers must be currently enrolled in a ballet class (NOTE: It does not have to be a class at CBA), and they must be at least 8 years old by Oct 1, 2024.
Centralia Ballet has an incredible opportunity this year. In addition to doing our shows at Centralia College (Friday Dec 13 at 7 PM, and Saturday Dec 14 at 2 PM), we will be doing three performances the previous weekend at Shelton High School Performing Arts Center (Saturday Dec 6 at 2 PM, and Sunday Dec 7 at 1 PM and 5 PM). After breaking the Guiness Book World Record for Most Illuminated Christmas Trees, Shelton was named Christmastown USA, and we will get to be the first Nutcracker performed there. Shelton's PAC has a huge stage and over 700 sets, and we look forward to filling each one.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL REGULAR REHEARSALS WILL TAKE PLACE AT CBA'S STUDIO IN CENTRALIA. WE WILL DO TECH/DRESS REHEARSALS IN SHELTON ON TUESDAY DEC 2 AND THURSDAY DEC 4.
